Following Twitter Accounts

This account is called Best of Maine and I absolutely love it. There are so many beautiful photo of our great state on this account and it just reminds me how lucky I am to live somewhere so beautiful. I think other classmates would want to follow for the same or similar reasons. Even if your not from Maine it’s good to step back away from the drama of social media and look at the beautiful things it can do for us.

This is the account of the famed Ellen DeGeneres. Growing up, I always watched and dreamed of being on her show and I figured now that I am on the twitter bandwagon, I might as well follow her. In addition to that, she has also taught me many things about myself and tends to remind me that it’s good to laugh. I think anyone in class who enjoys a good laugh or is having a rough time should go to her account and follow because her post just brighten my days.

My Quoto

I used the photo editor Pixlr to create this photo and quote. I found it easy to add the quote and edit the picture itself, but figuring out how to give proper credit was harder. I would recommend this photo editor, especially to someone like me who doesn’t have a lot of photo editing experience. I believe that this would be a good editor for students to use because it is easier to navigate and there are so many options of what to do with your photos that you want to edit. It is also free and requires no internet access for most features so if student had iPads like many school are starting to do they can download the free app and even if they cannot access the internet at home they could still complete work with this editor while not at school. I’m also adding a link to the website of a photo editor that I used to make collages and I enjoyed this site very much as well.

5 Things About Me

8B3B9FE6-B19E-46F8-9552-0DC689D75B8F1. I Skipped seventh grade and started taking college courses from UMA when I was fifteen, I’m still only eighteen. I always feel awkward when explaining that to people in person because they think I’m some super smart person, but honestly it was more of a right place right time situation. It’s important to me because it has helped me accelerate my learning paths. 2. My favorite season is Autumn. I will tell you how pretty it is outside as soon as the leaves change and will not stop until they are dead. I tell you this so you can prepare yourself for me telling you to look outside at the beauty of nature every.single.day. I love the entire idea of autumn and how it represents renewal and often take time to renew myself at this time.

3. I am pretty introverted. Sometimes I talk a lot and it is really hard to tell that I am an introvert, but after I am done speaking I need a lot of time to fully mentally recover and regain my energy from things like simple conversations to classroom facilitations. This is important to me because if I don’t give myself the proper amount of time to recover I always end up regretting it.

4. I have recently transferred into the Educational Studies program. I am hoping to become a social worker so like most people in this class my end goal is not teaching. It is important to me because I have found a major that still goes towards helping others but certain factors have disappeared that had brought me copious amounts of stress in the past.

5. I come a very small town. This is important because I struggle communicating with large groups of people. Until I went to high school I was used to a class size of around 12 so when I got to high school and college I did and still struggle with larger class sizes.

My Experience With Technology

My experiences with technology include both ups and downs. Some of the ups were having access to advanced technology like MacBooks and iPads since 6th grade. This taught me to be very familiar with apple devices, but made me overestimate how easy other programs are to run. Now when a device is not apple compatible I have a very hard time trying to figure out how to navigate it. I have a lot of questions, and it takes me a long time to adjust to different programs.
